Now there are more reasons than ever to use ProvLink.
In addition to the great self-service tools already on ProvLink – including Claim Connection, which assists with coding and pricing, and Clear Coverage, which allows you to submit prior authorization requests online – we have made improvements and added new features. They include:
- Patient benefits usage display. For those treatments that come with limitations, we'll keep you up to date on where a patient is at in her benefits usage. For example, you will know that a patient has completed their 25th visit out of 30 maximum visits for physical therapy.
- Plan partner contact information. If a patient receives services administered in part by an agency with which we partner, such as American Specialty Health Network, we provide contact information for that organization and help make it easy to get in touch with them.
- Benefits highlights. We've made it easier to learn about benefits and eligibility for a particular patient. If a member isn't eligible, we'll let you know as early in the patient display as possible. We've also moved critical documents such as the summary of benefits to the top of the patient information page for easier access.
And there's more to come. We're working on providing more detailed information for coordination of benefits. We're also working on improvements to our prior authorization process, including how to determine if you need to go through the process and how to obtain more information about what was approved.
