Clinical, preventive guidelines posted on ProvLink
Providence Health Plan has adopted evidence-based clinical practice and preventive health guidelines to assist practitioners in deciding the appropriate care for specific clinical circumstances. The intent of these guidelines is to reduce unnecessary variation and improve the quality of care provided to members. Clinical practice guidelines are available for asthma, coronary artery disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, depression, heart failure and tobacco cessation. Preventive health guidelines are available for perinatal, pediatric and adult populations.
