New care delivery models are gaining traction in the health care industry, and telehealth is a compelling example.
Recent surveys show that an increasing number of employers are interested in offering telehealth video visits to their employees as an alternative to time-consuming doctor visits. Telehealth offers many advantages for employees as well as employers, including more convenient access to care and lower costs. Providers benefit as well: A 2014 HIMSS study reveals that health care providers are relying on telemedicine to “increase their care coverage and extend the continuity of care within the market.”
Join Michelle Wernert as she shares her insights on the benefits and opportunities of telehealth, based on her experience developing Providence Health eXpress®, a new telehealth solution. Michelle will cover:
- The evolution of the provider visit
- How telehealth visits work
- Key learnings and metrics, including barriers to adopting the program
- Future planned enhancements
Now that all Providence commercial health plans cover Health eXpress visits, it’s important to know what you and your employees can expect from telehealth. Don’t miss this compelling presentation.
