Providence Lifeline Program

Providence Lifeline Medical Alert gives individuals of all ages access to personal support and emergency assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It's ideal for those recuperating at home from illness or surgery and for the elderly or physically challenged who want to remain and live more independently in their own homes.

Lifeline subscribers can press a lightweight, waterproof "help" button whenever they need assistance. The personal help button or auto alert fall detection button, which can be worn, activates a small in-home unit called a communicator. An emergency response associate will answer the call and determine what kind of help is needed. The emergency response associate can call an ambulance or call a neighbor for assistance.

The lifeline program requires a one-time installation fee and monthly charge. Please contact Providence Lifeline for more information.

Please note Medicare does not cover the cost of Lifeline services. Medicaid may pay for Lifeline service if you qualify, please discuss with your case manager. Lifeline does offer financial assistance for subscribers who do not have the ability to pay.



Providence Medicare Advantage Plans is an HMO, HMO-POS, and HMO SNP plan with a Medicare and Oregon Health Plan contract. Enrollment in Providence Medicare Advantage Plans depends on contract renewal.
