Health insurance exchanges

For 2016 plans, Oregonians who qualify for tax credits will need to enroll in the Federal Marketplace. Individuals can shop for health insurance coverage at HealthCare.gov, where you can choose from many different insurance plans offered by multiple insurance companies. If you are eligible for a tax credit and/or subsidy, you will receive it only if you buy your insurance coverage through HealthCare.gov.

Providence Health Plan offers a variety of plans at HealthCare.gov, or you may purchase a plan directly from us or through your insurance producer.

As part of the ACA, you may be eligible for financial assistance to help you pay for your health insurance purchased through HealthCare.gov. If you earn between 133 and 399 percent of the federal poverty level, you may be eligible for tax credits and/or subsidies. You can find out if you're eligible for financial assistance by using the tax credit calculator on the HealthCare.gov website. Eligibility will be based on the modified adjusted gross income for your entire household.
