How do I know if I'm anxious?

Anxiety can be a result of many different stressors in your life, such as work, financial obligations, or family situations. Genetics may also play a role. The effects of anxiety can be both mental and physical.

Those who suffer from anxiety might experience different symptoms. You may feel irritable, tired or depressed; experience headaches; have trouble concentrating; or have your own unique symptoms. You may experience minor to severe symptoms.

There are ways to calm your anxiety and preventing attacks:

  • Do breathing exercises
  • Practice yoga
  • Clear your mind
  • Talk to someone
  • Slow down
